Welcome to
Embassy Public School
Computer Department
The computer department at Embassy Public School is dynamic and equipped with the latest technology, providing students with an exciting environment and world-class education in technology.
Our computer application syllabus is exclusively designed to meet the needs of modern information technology. Students start with basic computer tools and progress to writing programs in Java. They learn a range of skills including using software like Paint, Word processing, PowerPoint, Web design, and both Basic and Advanced Java Programming. Concepts like Object-Oriented Programming and Relational Database Management are also covered. We conduct online tests to assess students' computer application skills.
Leading the computer department is Mrs. Asha, a veteran with years of experience teaching computer applications. She is supported by a team of talented individuals dedicated to imparting the best computer application knowledge to our students at Embassy Public School.
We introduce coding skills starting from Std. V using Scratch 2.0 developed by MIT Media Lab. Scratch helps students think creatively, reason systematically, and collaborate effectively—essential skills for the 21st century. We believe that laying a strong foundation in coding from an early age will prepare our students for competencies in AI and data science, vital for the future workforce.
From Std. 8 onwards, students delve into Object-Oriented Java programming, and they learn to build apps using MIT App Inventor. Our coding curriculum emphasizes critical thinking, computational skills, problem-solving, creativity, and hands-on exposure to new technologies, equipping our students with the skills they need for future learning and work in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.
